Terms of use
Range 35 LLC runs the Tiny Viewers website and its public API. By using either, you agree to these terms.
What a guide can tell you
Tiny Viewers lists scenes that may scare or upset a child, with times, descriptions, tags and strength marks for ages 5–7 and 8–10.
We use AI to analyse each film’s subtitles, cast list and plot summary and build its guide. AI models then reviewed every guide. For our first 8 films, AI models re-read the guide using what they know about the film. For every other film, and for scenes added to a guide later, two AI models checked each scene against its subtitle lines and plot summary without seeing each other’s answers, and could also use what they know about the film. In both kinds of review we only changed a scene where at least two models found the same problem. The models read the same material, so they can agree and still be wrong.
A guide can miss a scene, describe one wrongly, give it the wrong tags, or mark it too mild or too strong. Times can differ between editions of a film.
The guides are general information, not a content rating or professional advice, and can’t predict how your child will react. You decide what your child watches.
Using Tiny Viewers
You may use the website and API for personal and family viewing decisions, including through an AI assistant.
Don’t copy the guides in bulk, resell them, get around rate limits, access restricted features without permission or interfere with the service. Don’t use Tiny Viewers unlawfully or infringe someone else’s rights. We may restrict access that breaks these terms.
These restrictions do not take away rights granted by applicable law or a third-party licence.
Film material and credits
Film titles, artwork and dialogue belong to their owners. We quote a few short lines of dialogue so you can match times to your copy.
Plot summaries read during analysis come from Wikipedia contributors under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). Where a scene description adapts Wikipedia’s wording, that description is available under the same licence. Third-party material remains subject to its own rights and licence terms.
What you send us
You keep any rights you have in a scene report or correction. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, permanent licence to use, edit and publish your contribution in the guides and to improve them, without payment or credit owed.
Only send material you have the right to share. Please don’t send copies of films, scripts or subtitles. We don’t publish your name or email address.
No warranty
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tiny Viewers is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties. This includes warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We don’t promise that the service will always be available, free of errors or suitable for your child.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Tiny Viewers. This includes lost profits or data, even if we were told such losses were possible.
Our total liability for all claims arising from the service is limited to US$50.
These limits do not exclude or limit liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Governing law
Illinois law governs these terms, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Illinois will hear any dispute, unless the law where you live lets you bring it in your local courts. Rights you have under laws that can’t be excluded still apply.
Changes
We may change or stop parts of the service. We may also update these terms by posting a revised version here and changing the date below. Updated terms apply to use after they are posted. If you don’t agree, stop using the service.
